I VOTED TODAY-DID YOU?

I voted today, did you? It feels wonderful! I got there a few minutes before the polls opened and I was out the door to leave after only one hour and fifteen minutes. Not too bad, I didn't think.

If you haven't been yet, get out there and get'r done!!!!

Pre-election Day Musings

Our great country is going through some scary, uneasy, and seriously unsettling times. My inclination is to gather my loved ones, stock the cellar and circle the wagons. Unfortunately I cannot do that. We have to go out and deal with the world on a daily basis. I have to stand by and watch my children go out everyday and deal with a world that is getting increasingly harder to eke an adequate living out of. I am afraid for them, afraid of not being here when they need me.

Please, on November 4, 2008, go to your polling place and vote. Vote your mind or like me, vote your heart.
