The better half casually mentioned while we were at the Corvette Expo in Pigeon Forge, TN, recently, that he was thinking about dropping a new engine in the '72.
That way, we could drive it to the National Corvette Museum 15th Anniversay bash next September. Just think, said my beloved, real air conditioning and better gas mileage while we were driving a classic!!
Puh-leese!! "Oh noble husband", says I, "Didst forget we will be on the road for SEVEN days?" Bless his heart, he's got to be kidding!
Even tshirts & flipflops take up a certain amount of room. Chairs will be a necessary accessory for all the socializing that will be going on. I intend on packing as light as I possibly can but I still want to SHOP!! Even though I know the vendors will have free shipping on a lot of things, I will still want to do some damage in the NCM gift shop!
We do, however, have more than one vette..............hmmm!!
