The Carolina Vettepack is off and running! After a planning meeting on Jan. 3, we are getting the year off to a bang! Here's the scoop:
On the seventeenth of this month, we are planning our first dinner cruise of the year. Details are in the works for what's sure to be a fun evening!
The end of January will see a contingent of the CVP in Charlotte, NC, for a strategy meeting of the Labor Day Corvette Caravan to Bowling Green, Kentucky. We are making this one an over-nighter! Going to try and sneak in dinner at Mangione's at the Southpark Mall, keep your fingers crossed! Also, never to ignore the shopping angle, before coming home from Charlotte, we want to find the Pike's garden center in Charlotte. This is a family owned chain of stores in Atlanta, GA, with one store in Charlotte. Check them out soonest at http://www.pikenursery.com/
Still keeping our Corvettes pointing ahead, our group has already started making reservations for Vettes in the Valley in Maggie Valley, NC, for Memorial Day weekend. The great thing about this outing is that people in our area of the country can go a day trip or stay one or two nights. My better half and I have opted for the over-nighter version of this trip.
