As We Prepare to Commence...

Well, it has been a long time coming but we are in final preparations for the 2009 National Corvette Museum's 15th Anniversay Caravan!!

I just wanted to take a moment and reflect on the great brother and sisterhood of Corvette owners. This is a phenomenom that transcends age, gender, and ethnic background. It is hard to explain the feeling you have when you are running with a pack of Corvettes on the highway on your way to somewhere fun. Or maybe staying at a hotel where everyone around you shares the same sense of camaraderie and adventure, not to mention looking at a parking lot full of beautiful cars.

What better way to tour this great county of ours than in America's premier sportscar-the Chevrolet Corvette? To know these cars have been built right here in the United States of America? Most of them on the Caravan will have been built at a GM plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the home of the National Corvette Museum whose anniversary we are celebrating!

To all who will soon be starting the journey-may you be safe and have a wonderful trip!!
