Did I ever mention I love to shop?

I promised I would get a picture of my newest acquisitions! I bought these lovely statues at Bradley's Antiques and More located on Main Street, # 127, in LaGrange, GA. This was a delightful little antique shop with some very good buys. We had no trouble finding room for these beauties in the Electron Blue C5 Corvette but some of the fabulous furniture we saw would have required the trusty Silverado, Big Red.

An update on the credit card issue with Mountain Creek Inn at Pine Mountain, GA. I did end up filing a dispute since I had not seen my refund posted after we returned home. It is in process and I hope for closure soonest!

The C5 has gained a deserved rest from all the road trips we have made this spring. The 15th Anniversary of the National Corvette Museum and the big Caravans involved with this event are looming every closer. I am going to try to get all my pictures and travel notes organized so I can share them with my friends and fellow Corvette enthusiasts.

Chores or Fun?????

Well, what a procratinator I am!! I have been all about wanting a rainy weekend to catch up on house issues. like cleaning up the aftermath of post-tax returns. After doing three returns, the better half's and my joint return and one for each of the progeny, my dining room looks like a paper bomb went off in it.

Be careful what you wish for! This is the perfect rainy weekend and all I want to do is get out and cruise!! Shop, go out for lunch, fun stuff!

Oh well, I think I will blame everything on hormonal shifts-cold, hot, stay home, go out. One of the advantages of being a woman.

We are working on the next Carolina Vettepack outing. It will be a dinner cruise, some place fun!! Remember, I missed the last one so I am double looking forward to the next one! We have come up with some great ideas and are in the process of picking a date. Stay tuned......
