Doesn't matter how good you think you have something planned, mother nature can still deal you a rotten hand. The better half and I had to miss the opening 2009 CVP event because of a rotten virus!!! The whole family has passed this one around. I was the last to contract this nasty little bug. Everyone else was done in 2-3 days. Not me, had to be the over-acheiver, seven days. Ten, if you count the scratchy throat I had for three days before the other stuff started. Oh well, it is what it is.
Ok, I am concentrating very hard on getting better one hundred percent. We have plans for an overnighter to Charlotte, NC, in a couple of weeks for a planning meeting for the National Corvette Museum's 15th anniversary bash. This ought to be a very fun, productive weekend.
Let's see....fresh fruit, vitamins, lay off the junk food, plenty of sleep...gotta get better!
