HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009 !!

Happy New Year 2009 everybody! A new year dawning on the horizon, what a rush!

We have been spending the day with things that we want to spend the whole year with. A warm breakfast with the family, working on another Carolina Vettepack newsletter, looking forward to new experiences with some of the greatest people I know! Later on, curling up with a good book or some of the January 2009 magazines that I have been hoarding. The collard greens and black-eyed peas have been consumed with the hopes of prosperity in the new year.

I am looking forward to Saturday night's casual planning meeting of the CVP. The newsletter I sent out today to the CVP put out the call for new ideas for the new year. One date already on the new calendar is Jan. 31. There is a planning meeting for the National Corvette Museum's 15th Anniversary Caravan. A small faction of the CVP is planning to head up to Charlotte, NC, for an overnight stay so that we can attend what is sure to be an interesting get-together.

Good times, my friends, good times....
