CVP mourns the loss of a Corvette Sister

It was with sadness that I read the obituary of Donna Chandler yesterday in the morning paper. We knew her passing was expected but that does not make it any easier. Donna had been the victim of a long and declining illness so we must remember that she is now in a much better place and is whole again.

But we must also remember her family who are now dealing with losing a wife and mother. They are the ones we will keep in our thoughts and prayers as they move through the dark clouds of pain and loss.

For those of us who attended a Corvette club progressive dinner several, several years ago, we will remember the wonderful time we had at the Chandler's. Donna had prepared the appetizer course and insured that the event got off to a stellar start. We all had such a good time there, we almost missed the rest of the dinner because we didn't want to leave.

God speed, Donna, you will be missed by all. The Carolina Vettepack salutes you!
